Cloud Con Announcement

Do you want fame and glory? What better way than to get your art out to the masses than on the cover of a convention guide book?

There is an opportunity RIGHT NOW for one lucky artist to make the cover for the convention book for Cloudsdale Congress, a local-artist focused My Little Pony convention that will be held in Alexandria, Virginia March 9-10.  We are looking for a color piece with the dimensions of 5.5" wide x 8.5" tall (or larger, with this aspect ratio) that has a Cloudsdale/Pegasus-in-the-Clouds theme. If possible, we would like the con OC, Misty Morning (in the above picture), to be on it as well (her cutie mark is a tied scroll).  The art does not need to be vector – any media is welcome as long as it looks awesome and is printable. Layered over the image, there should be the text "Cloudsdale Congress" and "March 9-10, 2013".  You may re-use premade art for the cover; as long as we have permission to reprint it, we will accept the entry. 
 
If you're the chosen artist, Cloudsdale Congress will feature your art on the front cover of its convention booklet, have a free 1/2 page ad of your choice for your works in the convention book,  receive special thanks in the con book and if you wish to participate in artists alley at Cloudsdale Congress, will have a free table available for your works to sell.  If you can not attend, a physical copy of our book will be mailed to you.
